Rodney retired from the Abilene Fire Department in 2021 after a 35-year career. Rodney is the Finance and Facilities Director for the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature. He graduated from ACU with a Bachelor's in Accounting.   He also serves as Plan Administrator for the Abilene Firemen’s Relief & Retirement Fund after serving as board Chairman and Trustee for 26 years. Rodney also serves as an Abilene ISD Trustee. ​I have a passion for public service, and the Abilene Police Foundation is an opportunity for me to use my experience to continue serving the Abilene community.
