I grew up in Granbury, TX and entered the Air Force in June 1987. I was stationed at Dyess AFB for 7 ½ years. I went to work for Betty Rose’s BBQ part-time washing dishes in 1992. I departed the Air Force in 1994 and became part owner of Betty Rose’s BBQ in 1996. In 2006 I became the majority owner of Betty Rose’s BBQ. My wife, Kristin, and I have raised our daughters Brittney, Kassidy, and Kelly in Abilene and have enjoyed living in the community of Abilene ever since. With close ties and family members in the Abilene police department, and as a local business owner, I depend so much on our law enforcement and first responders for quality of life and growing our community. I have strived to give back to the community and our men and women in blue my whole career. I hope to serve well as a board member of the APF and help in any way I can.
